Provide L1 network and security operations support.
Handle customer issues from initial contact to escalation as needed.
Act as the point of contact for the NOC team during shifts, escalating to stakeholders as required.
Design, implement, troubleshoot, and manage routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure.
Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Support and manage site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstations.
Adhere to change management processes and provide daily and weekly reports.
Requirements
Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, ISIS).
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and other networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, CDP, ARP).
Experience in NOC environments.
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XR and Juniper Junos.
Knowledge of core routing and switching design principles and related technologies.
Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards (routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, QoS, DSL, Frame Relay, Metro Ethernet).
Proven experience in network capacity planning and security principles.
Ready to work in morning or evening shifts.
Expert knowledge in network management best practices.
